This beautiful, large oil portrait has the loveliest presence.

Marked on the reverse '1892' it has been within the estate of the same family since that time. Sourced from the town of Sherborne, England.

This is a large piece - but the gentleman has a very calm countenance and would make a wonderful addition to a space.

The frame itself is a piece of art, with a generous depth and very little damage.

Superficial light mark to left of gentleman’s head. Some small losses to gilding on frame.
