An amazing piece! These scales are circa 1900-1910 made in Ohio, USA. Most likely used in a general store or grocer. In a gorgeous patinated finish similar to verdigris green. With a toughened glass shelf that can be lifted off to clean etc.

These scales still function insofar as the inner numbers still roll around when weight is applied and it rests at almost exactly zero.

Dimensions: Overall Width 47.5cm, Height 75cm, Depth approx 52cm. Base 45.5cm x 33cm. (Heavy!)
